Ban Pa Miang is a village located in Chae Son National Park. It is about 14 km away from the national park. Ban Pa Miang high hill community surrounded by Miang forest. The weather is cool all year round, and the area is mostly mountainous complex. It is about 1,200 meters above sea level. There are about 126 households in this village, with most of the villagers making a living in gardening, processing Meang, and finding forest products. The way of life of the people in the community is still traditional which is unique in terms of traditions and culture and various folk games Local dishes include Yum Bai Miang, Yum Dok Siew, Chinese cabbage, wild eggs herbs, sausages, shiitake mushrooms, etc., which tourists can actually enjoy them with welcoming trees and mountains Ban Pa Miang is becoming more popular among tourists; because during the month of February every year, pure white wild crescent flower will bloom all over the valley and along the path way Dok Siew Pa is a native flower. The flowers are white with 5 petals and pink specks on the large petals. It only grows on a mountain with an altitude of 1,000 meters or above. It is most commonly found at Ban Pa Miang, Chae Son Sub-district, Mueang Pan District, where every year there is a flower blossom festival.
